CLAT, the common law admission test is an all India level entrance exam for admissions to various undergraduate courses in 13 National Law Universities. People interested in studying law are often unsure of the career options after completion of BA LLB Entrance Exam.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is one of the most important entrance exams for students aspiring to pursue legal education in India. A high score in CLAT opens doors to some of the best law colleges in the country. After successfully qualifying CLAT, the next big question on most students’ minds is – “What are my career options?”

There are a variety of career options available to CLAT qualifiers, depending on their skills and interests. One option could be to pursue a career in the legal profession. Lawyers are employed in various capacities in both public and private organizations. They can work as practicing advocates, business lawyers , legal consultants, researchers and law officers. Other career options for CLAT qualifiers include jobs in the judiciary, prosecution department , legislative bodies, non-profits , media organizations and NGOs .

A law student typically has a long journey ahead of them before they can become a full-fledged lawyer. This includes a 3 year course on Bachelor of Laws (LLB) followed by a 2 year course on Master of Laws (LLM).
